If you do not provide personal data that we need for legal, licensing or contractual reasons (for example, KYC documents), we may not be able to open your account, process withdrawals, or continue to provide the Services to you.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that collect information about your visit. We use them for the following purposes:

6.1 Types of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These are needed for the website to work, for example to keep you logged in, keep your account secure and remember your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies. These help us understand how visitors use the Services so we can improve them. We only use these with your consent.

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4). A web analytics service provided by Google. GA4 collects information such as pages viewed, events, device and browser information and approximate location, to help us understand how the Services are used. You can learn more at Google’s privacy policy and opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Meta Pixel. An advertising tool provided by Meta Platforms. It records actions you take on our website (such as visiting pages or signing up) so that we can measure the effectiveness of our ads and show ads to you and similar audiences on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may combine this information with other data it holds about you. See Meta’s privacy policy.
  • Telegram widget and bot. If you use our Telegram widget or bot, Telegram will process your data according to its own privacy policy. Embedded Telegram content may also set cookies or collect data from your device.

  • Hosting and cloud providers and other service providers that support our business, such as hosting, cloud storage, customer support, IT security and fraud detection providers.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and insurers.
  • Business successors. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy or one offering the same level of protection.

Where we use service providers to process data on our behalf, they act as our Data Processors and may only use your data on our instructions and under a written contract.

8. International transfers

We are based outside India, and some of our service providers are located in other countries. This means your personal data may be processed outside India by our service providers, with appropriate safeguards in place.

When we transfer personal data outside India, we do so in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India, and we take steps to make sure your data stays protected, such as using contracts with appropriate safeguards and choosing providers with strong security standards.

9. How long we keep your personal data

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law, our licence or our regulators require. In general:

  • Account data: for as long as your account is open, and after it is closed for as long as legally required, including under anti-money-laundering (AML) obligations.
  • KYC, AML and transaction records: for as long as legally required, including under anti-money-laundering (AML) obligations.
  • Self-exclusion records: for as long as legally required, including under anti-money-laundering (AML) obligations, so that we can continue to honour your self-exclusion.
  • Marketing data: until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe, after which we keep a record of your opt-out so we do not contact you again.
  • Cookies and analytics data: analytics data is retained in line with our analytics provider’s settings.
  • Support communications: for as long as legally required, including under anti-money-laundering (AML) obligations.

When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it securely.

10. How we protect your personal data

We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. These include standard measures such as encryption of data in transit, access controls that limit who can see your data, and monitoring of our systems for suspicious activity.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and not sharing your account. If you think your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@betroxy.com.

If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required by the DPDP Act and other applicable laws.

11. Responsible gambling and self-exclusion

We use your personal data to help you gamble safely. If you set limits, take a break or self-exclude, we will record this and use your data to prevent you from opening new accounts or receiving marketing during the exclusion period. For more information, visit our Responsible Gambling and Self-Exclusion page.

12. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, and subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the law, you have the following rights:

You can ask us for:

  • a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing activities we carry out with it;
  • the identities of the other Data Fiduciaries and Data Processors with whom we have shared your personal data, and a description of the data shared; and
  • any other information about your personal data required by law.

12.2 Right to correction, completion and updating

You can ask us to correct inaccurate or misleading personal data, complete incomplete data, and update your data. You can also update some details directly in your account settings.

12.3 Right to erasure

You can ask us to erase personal data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for. We will erase it unless we must keep it to comply with the law, our licence or regulatory requirements (for example, AML, tax or self-exclusion records). If we cannot erase some data, we will tell you why.

12.4 Right to withdraw consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it. This will not affect processing that took place before you withdrew consent. If you withdraw consent, we will stop processing that data for the relevant purpose within a reasonable time, unless the law requires or allows us to continue.

12.5 Right to grievance redressal

You have the right to raise a complaint with us about how we handle your personal data (see Section 13).

12.6 Right to nominate

You can nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

12.7 How to exercise your rights

To make a request, email support@betroxy.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

Your duties as a Data Principal under the DPDP Act include providing accurate information, not impersonating others and not filing false or frivolous complaints.

If you are located outside India, you may also have rights under the data protection laws of your country. You can contact us using the details above to exercise them.

13. Grievance redressal

If you have a concern or complaint about how we handle your personal data, please contact our Grievance Officer at support@betroxy.com.

We will acknowledge your complaint and resolve it within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law, including any period prescribed under the DPDP Act and its rules.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India, once you have first used our grievance redressal process.

14. Minors

The Services are only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to open an account or gamble, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. We verify age as part of our KYC checks.

If we find that a person under 18 has opened an account, we will close it, return any deposits where appropriate and permitted by law, and delete their personal data unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@betroxy.com.

15. Marketing and how to opt out

We will only send you marketing messages (by email, SMS, push notification or Telegram) or use advertising cookies and pixels if you have given us your consent. You can withdraw your consent and opt out at any time by:

  • clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing message;
  • changing your communication preferences in your account settings; or
  • emailing us at support@betroxy.com.

To stop advertising cookies and pixels, manage your cookies through your browser settings or the cookie banner where shown (see Section 6.3).

Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send you service messages about your account, transactions, security and important changes to our terms. If you self-exclude, we will stop all marketing to you during the exclusion period.
