Funky Time is a disco-themed live game show from Evolution, built on the same money-wheel idea as Crazy Time but with a bigger wheel, letter bets and four bonus games of its own. This guide explains how the Funky Time game works, what each segment pays, the real odds, how the four bonus rounds play out, and what "Funky Time result" history can and cannot tell you.

What is Funky Time?

Funky Time is a live casino game show with a real presenter, a '70s disco studio and a large money wheel that Evolution calls the DigiWheel. You bet on where the wheel will stop, the host spins it, and the DigiWheel assigns random multipliers to random segments for that round.

If the wheel stops on a number or letter you backed, you win straight away. If it stops on a bonus segment you backed, you go into that bonus game, where a multiplier is guaranteed. On Betroxy, Funky Time sits in the live game shows lobby and runs in your browser on mobile or desktop.

The Funky Time wheel: segments and payouts

The wheel has 64 segments, and every one of them is either an instant win or a route into a bonus game. The 24 letter segments spell out the words PLAY, FUNK and TIME, and each word appears twice.

Segment Number on wheel Chance per spin Base payout
Number 1 28 43.75% 1:1
Each letter (P, L, A, Y, F, U, N, K, T, I, M, E) 2 per letter 3.125% (1 in 32) 25:1
All 12 letters together 24 37.5% 25:1 on the letter that lands
Bar 6 9.375% Bonus game
Disco 3 about 4.69% Bonus game
Stayin' Alive 2 3.125% Bonus game
VIP Disco 1 about 1.56% Bonus game

The chances are simple segment counts out of 64, so they are exact. All 12 bonus segments together come up 18.75% of the time, or roughly once every five or six spins on average.

Two shortcut buttons make betting quicker: Bet on 12 Letters places one bet on every letter at once, and Bet on 4 Bonuses places one bet on each of the four bonus games.

How a Funky Time round works

  1. Place your chips on Number 1, any letters, any bonus games or a mix while the timer runs.
  2. Betting closes, the host spins the wheel and the DigiWheel adds random multipliers to random segments.
  3. The wheel stops. Number 1 and letter wins are paid at once, multiplied if that segment carried a multiplier.
  4. A bonus game starts if the wheel stops on a bonus segment. Everyone can watch, but only players who bet on that bonus take part.

The four bonus games

Bar

Bar is the most common bonus, with six segments. You choose one of three glasses, and a robot bartender fills all three with random multipliers. A single-reel slot then reveals an extra multiplier that boosts one glass at random, and any wheel multiplier on the Bar segment multiplies all three. You win your Bar stake times the final value in your glass.

Stayin' Alive

Stayin' Alive uses a ball machine with 90 coloured balls and a 20-level multiplier ladder that starts at 5x and climbs to 10,000x. You pick a team colour, green, pink or orange, and everyone starts at the bottom with four lives.

  • A 1-step ball in your colour moves you up one level.
  • A 2-step ball in your colour moves you up two levels.
  • A black STOP ball costs every player one life.

The round ends when the last life is gone, and you are paid at the level your colour has reached. A wheel multiplier on the Stayin' Alive segment multiplies every value on the ladder.

Disco and VIP Disco

Both bonuses feature Mr Funky, an animated dancer who starts in the middle of a virtual dance floor: 37 squares in Disco and 63 in VIP Disco. The presenter spins a small eight-segment wheel showing up, down, left and right, and Mr Funky moves in that direction.

He collects two kinds of multiplier. Regular multipliers add to your total, so collecting 2x and 10x gives 12x. Floor multipliers double the values of five random regular squares. The round ends when Mr Funky dances off the edge of the floor. A wheel multiplier on the Disco or VIP Disco segment multiplies every regular multiplier before he starts.

Evolution caps Stayin' Alive, Disco and VIP Disco at 10,000x, and the game rules also set a maximum total payout per round, so check the help panel before you play.

The real odds behind Funky Time

The table above shows how often each segment lands. Compare that with what it pays:

  • A single letter lands 1 time in 32. A fair price would be 31 to 1, but the base payout is 25 to 1.
  • Number 1 lands 28 times in 64. A fair price would be about 1.29 to 1, but the base payout is even money.

Random multipliers return part of that gap, but they do not remove it. Every bet spot keeps a house edge, and it differs from spot to spot. Open the rules screen inside the game to check the payout details of each bet before you choose where to put your chips.

What a spread costs in ₹. Say you put ₹10 on each of the 12 letters, ₹120 per spin. When a letter lands, that bet pays ₹250 plus your ₹10 back, so ₹260 returns: a ₹140 profit on the spin, or more if a multiplier hit. But letters miss 62.5% of the time, so on average five spins in every eight lose the full ₹120. Add ₹10 on each bonus and every spin costs ₹160.

Funky Time results: what history tells you

"Funky Time result" is a popular search, and many sites post spin histories. History is a record, not a forecast:

  • Every spin is independent. The wheel has no memory, so a long gap since the last VIP Disco does not make it "due".
  • Multipliers are random and assigned fresh each round.
  • Predictor apps and "signal" groups are scams. Nobody outside the studio knows the next result, and anyone selling one is after your money.

Funky Time vs Crazy Time

Crazy Time uses a 54-segment wheel with numbers 1, 2, 5 and 10 and a Top Slot that boosts one bet spot per spin. Funky Time keeps only the number 1, adds 24 letter segments paying 25 to 1, and puts its multipliers directly on its 64-segment wheel. Bonuses also land slightly more often in Funky Time: 12 of 64 segments (18.75%), against 9 of 54 (about 16.7%) in Crazy Time. Simple tips for Funky Time

  • Read the help panel first for payouts, bet limits and bonus rules.
  • Treat bonuses as long shots. VIP Disco lands about once in 64 spins, so long dry spells are normal.
  • Keep spreads small. Covering everything multiplies your spend, not your chances.
  • Fix a stake per spin from your session budget, and set a time limit.
