Match winner
The simplest bet: which team wins the match. It is where most beginners start, because you only need a view on one outcome. Tied matches decided by a Super Over are settled under the betting rules, so check them if you are unsure.
Top batsman and top bowler
You pick the player who will score the most runs (top batsman) or take the most wickets (top bowler), usually for one team. These markets reward knowing batting orders and bowling roles. A top-order batter faces more balls than a finisher, and a death-overs specialist gets different chances from a powerplay bowler. Check dead-heat and non-participant rules before you bet.
Runs in an over
A short-term market on how many runs will be scored in a specific over, often as an over/under line. T20 overs are volatile — one boundary or one wicket changes everything — so keep stakes small here.
Method of dismissal
You predict how the next wicket (or a specific batter) will fall: caught, bowled, LBW, run out, stumped and so on. Some outcomes, like caught, happen much more often than others, and the odds reflect that. These are specials markets, and margins can be higher than on the match winner.
Live (in-play) betting
Live cricket betting lets you bet while the match is played, with odds updating ball by ball. You might back a team after a strong powerplay, or bet on the next over once you have seen how the pitch is playing. Live markets can pause at key moments, such as a wicket or a review, and prices move quickly. Where cash-out is offered, it lets you settle early, but it can be suspended or withdrawn during play.
